Today Charlie, Kaylee and Jake didn't have school. I had an hour's worth of parent teacher conferences instead. The fun part of this is that Sam did have preschool and usually Sam drops Charlie, Kaylee and Jake off with me first and then I drop him off. Today Charlie, Kaylee and Jake had the opportunity to drop Sam off with me. They must have given him this triple hug for a solid minute! It was so sweet!
The picture above is of my mommy/Charlie, Kaylee, Jake date this morning after we dropped Sam off and before my conference with their teacher. It was really fun. They know that Sam and I have mommy/Sam dates on Wednesdays when they have school but he doesn't. It was really fun for them and for me to have this special date with them this morning.
The video below is of Sam performing in his Spring Program. This is the first time Sam has ever been in any kind of program. We had no idea what to expect from him, but he did great! We were all so proud of him!

The pictures below are what even made me want to write this post. I don't want to forget what Charlie did. I thought this was a majorly sweet big brother move on Charlie's part and I'm so proud of him for being such an awesome big brother to Sam. Sam fell asleep on our way home this afternoon and I transferred him to the couch. He ended up sleeping through the the "Peter Pan" movie. I did too. It was a very full day! You could tell that Charlie must have been continuing to check if Sam was awake because the first second he opened his eyes Charlie ran right over with the most loving voice saying, "Sam do you want to open your eggs now? Kaylee opened some of them and took the candy out but I filled them all up again with treats for you and closed up the eggs. Do you want me to help you open them?"
(Sam had an Easter Egg Hunt at school today and we were waiting until we got home to open them but then he fell asleep and his sister raided his eggs but then Charlie refilled them and closed them up for Sam and couldn't wait to bring them to him to open)
